Reto Vogt

Reto Vogt is a Swiss technology journalist and keynote speaker based in Winterthur. He is Chief Product Officer and Deputy CEO of MAZ, the Swiss School of Journalism in Lucerne, a position he has held since February 2026. He oversees its full portfolio of training and continuing education programmes.

In addition to his role at MAZ, he works as a journalist covering artificial intelligence, Big Tech and digital sovereignty for Swiss publications including NZZ, NZZ am Sonntag, WOZ and Beobachter. His weekly column, *Vogt am Freitag*, appears on the Swiss digital policy platform DNIP. He was editor-in-chief of inside-it.ch from 2021 to 2024 and began his journalism career in 2006 at the technology magazines Computerworld and PCtipp.

As a speaker and moderator, he explores how AI is reshaping media, public administration and democracy through keynotes, workshops and discussions. He also serves on the board of AlgorithmWatch Switzerland and as co-president of Quajou.
